The nexus between transparency reports and soft skills training in audit firms

Purpose: This study aims to identify and discuss educational practices of a selected set audit firms operating in Turkey within the scope corporate transparency reports. Methodology: To address basic research question, sample 52 firm disclosures reports are examined, statistical analyses conducted through SPSS. Results: Audit affiliated with international bodies provide comparatively longer periods non-technical or soft skills education in-house. Transparency published yet be standardized, systematically plan enrich their programs particular emphasis on skills. Conclusion: would gain from investing development skills, which is not only limited by monetary concerns but also other factors considered. The attempts uncover any similarity/difference among firms’ initiatives identified reports, understand whether these translate into some meaningful relationships outcomes.
